FIRE BAN NOTICE

PUBLIC NOTICE: EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
Due to current dry, windy, and warmer conditions that are forecasted to continue, the Town of Fort Macleod, along with our Fire Chief has issued a Fire Ban on all open fires within the Town of Fort Macleod.
INSTRUCTIONS
Under this Fire Ban, all active fire/burn permits are cancelled, and no new permits will be issued. Burning of any kind is not permitted.
Fires that contained in cooking or heating appliances fueled by fluids or gases (gas or propane fueled fire rings, BBQ’s, stoves and heaters) are exempt from this order.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This fire ban is effective as of 10:00 am April 1, 2021.
