Mission: The club was chartered on May 3, 1939. Our club motto “We Serve Lions” stands for Liberty Intelligence Our Nations Safety. Our colors are purple and gold. Purple stands for loyalty to friends, and for integrity for mind and heart. Gold stands for sincerity of purpose, liberality in judgment, purity in life, and generosity in mind, heart and purse to those in need. The first swimming pool in Fort Macleod was a major project of the Lions.

Activities: Our major program is getting the Skills program into our schools. We also work with Lions International projects like, Eye bank, CNIB and Guide Dog of Canada. We help with 4-H public speaking, do marshalling for the Santa Claus Parade, and contribute to LIONS Ball Park. Our source of revenue is catering banquets, ticket sales.
