Mission: The first library was built in 1931, with the present location built in 1974. The primary aim of the R.C.M.P Centennial Library is to collect and make available to all residents of the Town of Fort Macleod and the M.D of Willow Creek, such materials and programs as are needed and desired by them for self-development, information gathering and recreation. A further aim of the R.C.M.P Centennial Library is to serve as a member of a network of libraries in Alberta and Canada. At present the library provides a variety of materials in print and audio, reference services and programs. We are a member of the Chinook Arch Library System.
Services: We provide free internet service, space for other groups to meet, summer reading program, lending materials such as Books on Tape, Talking Books, Large Print Books, and Consumer Information magazines.
