Mission: Rotary International was founded in 1905. Its motto: “Service Above Self”. The Rotary Club of Fort Macleod was chartered in 1955. The club meets every Wednesday at noon, at the Masonic Hall. The Club is a service Club that serves firstly the local community, secondly the district (includes Red Deer south to the US border and the southwest corner of Saskatchewan), and thirdly, internationally. In addition to raising money to give to various organizations that are in need, they also supply a lot of sweat equity into projects within the community.

Activities: Sponsor an Exchange student each year from another county, sponsor an outgoing student each year to another country, hold a Fall Auction – November, sponsor the Christmas Choir Festival – December, Lobster fest – October, maintains outdoor hockey rink, representation on the Fort Macleod Community Hall Committee. We assist any organization in need, within the community.
