2024 Sidewalk Replacement
Each year, Public Works inspects and identifies sections of sidewalks that require replacement. Consideration is given to the level/type of deterioration, pedestrian safety, and level of impediment to snow clearing.
Mayor & Council approved $65,000.00 in our 2024 capital budget for sidewalk replacements in 2024.
Portions of 26th Street, including areas between 3rd and 4th Avenue, 4th and 5th Avenue, and 4th and 5th Avenue East, will see new sidewalks. This project includes removal and installation, barrier-free corners, curbing, and guttering.
Approximately 320 linear feet (1280 square feet) of sidewalk will be replaced, with construction starting on July 15, 2024.
