Backwash Line Replacement 2025
You may have noticed some work happening on the south side of 30th Street near the Wastewater Treatment Plant. That’s because we’ve been replacing the backwash line, which was originally installed in 2002. The old steel piping, without an epoxy coating, was starting to show signs of wear.
The goal of this project was to replace the outdated line to keep our drinking water system reliable and safe for everyone. With the new line in place, we’re ensuring a more resilient water supply for the community.
Good news – the work is complete as of April 2025, and everything is back on track! Thanks for your patience as we continue to improve the town's infrastructure.
