2025 Gravel Road Pavement
Every year, Public Works selects gravel roads that are good candidates for asphalt overlay, considering things like subgrade conditions, stormwater management, and maintenance needs. The goal is to upgrade these roads to asphalt, making them smoother and safer while cutting down on long-term maintenance costs. This improves both driving conditions and the overall resilience of the road infrastructure.
This year 8th Avenue, south of 12th Street was prioritized for asphalt.
