Council Meetings

Regular Council Meetings

Regular Council meetings are held every 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. They are live-streamed on our Town of Fort Macleod YouTube channel. All meetings, unless otherwise posted, will begin at 7:00 pm and are held in Council Chambers at the GR Davis Administration Building located at 410 20th Street, Fort Macleod.

If Monday is a holiday, the meeting will be on Tuesday. Only one meeting is held in July and August, chosen and announced during the year. There may only be one meeting in December as well.

The public is welcome to attend Council meetings.

Committee of the Whole Council Meetings

Committee of the Whole Council meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month (as needed). All meetings, unless otherwise posted, will begin at 7:00 pm and are held in Conference Room at the GR Davis Administration Building located at 410 20th Street, Fort Macleod. The public is welcome to attend.

Finance and Infrastructure
Committee of the Whole Council Meetings

Finance and Infrastructure Committee of the Whole Council meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of every month (as needed). All meetings, unless otherwise posted, will begin at 12:00 pm and are held in Conference Room at the GR Davis Administration Building located at 410 20th Street, Fort Macleod. The public is welcome to attend.

Special Council Meetings

According to the Municipal Government Act, special Council meetings are held as needed. The date, time, and location may vary. The public is welcome to attend.

Organizational Council Meetings

Organizational Council meetings are held once annually before the 2nd Regular Council meeting in October. All organizational meetings, unless otherwise posted, will begin at 6:00 pm and are held in Conference Room at the GR Davis Administration Building located at 410 20th Street, Fort Macleod. The public is welcome to attend.
